This warmup encompasses multiple guard play situations and challenges ballhandling
On the court, we set up a “Trap Triangle,” a cone for a single change of direction and multiple cones for quick dribble changes.
Player starts by taking an inbounds pass. He drives hard up the court and into the “Trap Triangle.” we then simulate backup dribbles to escape the trap.
Upon reaching mid-court, player makes a hard change of direction and continues up the floor for a lay up.
He then grabs the rebound and starts up the floor, making quick direction changes through the quick change cones.
He then explodes out for a layup.
